Stavros Kapnias is the Director of the Charter Department and a shareholder of Abberley Luxury Yachts. Born on the 1st July 1975 in Greece, Stavros studied Journalism and Political Science, with an expertise in International Relationships and International Maritime Law.

He spent a year in Brussels working for the Union of the European Federalists, where he was the Project Manager for a European Constitution, assisting an Intergroup of Members of the European Parliament in their endeavours towards a European Constitution.

In 2009 Stavros ‘jumped ship’ and became a shareholder in Abberley Luxury Yachts when he made his passion his business by becoming a Charter Broker extraordinaire.

The challenge of creating a unique tailor-made, picture perfect yacht charter for his clientele is what gets Stavros bounding out of bed each day!

His extensive knowledge of all the super yachts in the industry is one of the critical factors when it comes to offering the ideal luxury yacht charter to suit the needs of each individual client.

Stavros inspects hundreds of vessels every year, evaluating them from head to toe, not to mention the crews and chefs too!

In fact, Stavros’ reputation in the industry and the amount of charters he delivers every year is what enables him to get the best value possible for each of his clients.
